film issue or or is it me?

I'm getting little firm bubble looking things on the gun stock I'm dipping when it comes out the water. When rinced the film comes off as well as these bubble things. Is this something I'm doing wrong or something with the film?

Valspar 555 base, and own activator. The balls are firm and when rinsed the balls come off as well as film about three times the size of the ball. Not had this happen before.

Does the film come off and leave the bumps?

The film comes off as soon as it's rinsed and leaves holes 3 or 4 x's larger than the balls that was there.

If your getting a hole in your base then the activator is possible not atomizing very well. Check your gun set up

Thanks for the advice. We worked out that it was neither the film or us, it was the filling of the carbon fiber gun stock. The filling started to escape from the seam after 2 dips and reacted with the dipping process. After hours today with the maker of the stocks it was worked out. Thank god, it's been very frustrating thinking your doing something wrong and can't work out what!
