Best is relative. Use what you can get where you are, use well, and works for your products.

@DippenDave best to start your own thread and include pics, (that way the responses come to you, not @Cheezy1077) but I am guessing you didn't mix the flattening agent enough to suspend it in the clear... it's sitting at the bottom of the can.

There are other possibilities, but you gave very little info

Some will gloss up if you apply to heavily also. What brand, what is the mix ratio, etc.
