Mixing booth

Can a mixing booth be used as a painting booth if all that is being done is small parts like gun parts? They are the perfect size and cost less.

That sort of room is designed not to let fumes build up and cause an explosion. It is not made to be cleaned, be dust free, or lit correctly... But you can do whatever you want.
