@midnight_dipper Yes it's a #3 in the UK...#15 or #27 also work here in the US...I used a #27 before I got a #3...hope that helps...

@K2Concepts My local paint supply store informed me that 3M is discontinuing the cups for the PPS adapter because of the introduction of a new style adapter. The old cups will be soon obsolete and we will have to buy new adapters to fit the new style cups. Have you heard anything about this?

You are correct, but they are slowly phasing them out, it will take a long time before you can not get them anymore.

Everyone needs to calm down...3M is phasing out the old style because the patent ran out...(ask me how I know?)...So they are going around changing out the adapters for free...so they can lock you into the new cups for another 10 years...

Which means some enterprising dude is gonna start making the cups cheaper...which you should be able to buy soon...so I would not do anything and just let it play out...unless you really enjoy paying $2 a cup?...Those jokers could charge 50 cents a cup and still make plenty of money...jerks...

It is always nice when 3m just shows up and drops off a bunch of free pps series 2 stuff and warns about the new companies making the old style!

Go figure. that patent runs out on the old system that worked well for years... and suddenly they will set you up with some new parts for this great new system they developed. Oh yeah, and BE CAREFUL... there are unscrupulous companies out there that want to sell you that old terrible system at a greatly discounted price compared to what they sold it for. Good thing you guys are too smart for that and will only trust 3M representatives to treat you right!

Yeah, it's amazing all the stories they where telling. But on a good note they left me with enough for 3 months. That will give us plenty of time to test out the "inferior new ones that are out on the market"

Ehh...some improvements...but overall for us? I will stick with the old ones for now...especially at the "new and improved" price...

Yea I have heard and seen that as well...even the ones we brought in for everyone could have used some improvement...but at 1/4 of the price? It was worth the frustration...

The new system is pretty nice though and they did make some improvements...we are pretty happy with them...
