I know this isn't a popular subforum but I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned. 
I use to take notes, scan receipts, have text next to pics...
Great app and it starts at free. 
I use this app everyday and it's been very helpful for me keeping organized and getting thoughts down so I don't forget them.

I had it on my Samsung...not sure why I didn't like it...have yet to download it on my Apple though...maybe I need to get schooled up on the product...

My favorite part about it right now is taking a picture of a receipt and then I can put a title on it and file it in a category. 
Don't have to worry about losing the receipt or having it fade out on you.
