Candy powder

Hi guys just wondering when you guys are doing candy powder coat ,are you guys doing a silver then dipping to that and candy over top of pattern or silver then candy colour then dip to th candy

    @tnt81 Not sure about powder coating, but when painting, we always candy over the dip. Usually we lay a coat of clear over the top of the dip, then candy, then clear again

    You can dip over the silver after it gels out in the oven. They spray your candy over it. Keep the temp down on the candy or you can have distortion. I would say be in the 325-350 degree range. The 10 min 400 degree rule is a risk with the candy.
