Suitable primer required for rubber "overmoulded" gun stock

I have a rubber over moulded synthetic gun stock to dip, can anyone please advise a quality primer suitable for this application?

@smedlin the stock that he wants dipped is a synthetic stock that has rubber over the top so you are dipping to rubber it can be done and will look good if don't want to use it every time someone pushes on it with your fingers it will crack

Thanks for the advice guys, I suspected this is may be the case. It was given to me by a local gun shop for demonstration purposes only, but I will walk away from this one , as I don't want to mislead potential customers.
