These are red base coat, followed by a coat of OHW mettalic inter-coat. I love that stuff ( @onehitwonder )

After dip, I put 2 coats of red candy.

    It's amazing in the sun...

Video's and pictures do not do it justice.

    Soo...

The client has been working a shutdown/turnaround for the past 2+ weeks. Been working 16 hour days, 7 days a week.

Finally got some time today to put the bike back together.

And.. his kid knocks the rear fender off a stand.. big ole scratches all in it.

    guy was all but crying..

...And that was the last time dad ever let me in the shop... he just sat there and stared at that bike for hours...

Guy took a black magic marker and a clear coat pen to fill in the scratches on the rear fender

That will be coming back to you in a few months...

That will be coming back to you in a few months...

He said from a few feet away it's hard to see the scratches.

He then said, if your next to the bike, they stand out, really bad.. like poo on a stick bad.

He said he will bring the fender back around Xmas

Hate to see it happen, but that is the business we are in. He wanted it perfect when you were finished, he isn't going to look the other way for long.
