Aqualac ?

What material can't aqualac go direct to after blasting? Figured it would be easier to ask it that way then post for each individual item.

Bare steel isn't recommended due to rust concerns.
I wouldn't go direct to blasted HDPE without flame treating and using an Adhesion Promoter.

Aqualac contains water. But only until it evaporates. Within a half hour of being sprayed. If the base material would be effected being sprayed with water and left for a half hour, then it should have a primer. But Aqualac dries, it acts as a barrier to corrosion as all paints do. Stainless steel and aluminum are not effected by water in that short of a time, so they can be painted direct.

That being said, 38 series has flash rust inhibitors that prevent rust on steel for the time until the paint is dry. So it can go direct to steel.
